Bitcoin, a truly historical and extrordinary invention.
But let's be honest can any new invention be perfect?

The first block has been mined, more and more people hear about bitcoin. Eventually one day sometime 2011 Charlie Lee MIT graduate and Google Enginieer finds interest in the p2p digital cash system Nakamoto described on 2008 October 31st

He sees some glaring issues and decides to fork bitcoin to modify the source code This comes to the launch of litecoin in October 2011 initially the main differences being the Scrypt algorythm (More decentralized, anti ASIC) aswell as faster block creation and lower fees.

Is this the p2p digital cash we dreamed of? Not quite. When goverments around the world started regulating The trading and using of cryptocurrency through AML and KYC regulations the public blockchain and history of specific coins became a problem.

The CryptoNote protocol is born with the 2013 whitepaper by Nicolas van Saberhagen and eventually BitMonero, and forked from that Monero was born. Monero seeks to fix the unforseeable issues authoritarian intrusive goverments have created, becoming something that feels much more like what bitcoin was intended to be.

Bitcoin, since then has made no real progress in development and with two "failed" forks it seems like the people who like bitcoin see no issue with what it has become.

BCH (Bitcoin cash) the first fork is quite funny to be honest I guess the devs didn't know about Litecoins existence.
As for the BIP-110 hard fork I just don't even know what to say.
Why hasnt anyone heard of litecoin?

I don't know what else to write it's unlikely anyone will read this anyway.
